To become a CFA charterhold,

1) You have to pass the three levels of CFA exams.

2) You have to be a regular member of CFA institute. But to be a member, you need to: a) pass Level 1 b) have 4 years of working experience c) be sponsored by a member or supervisor in the application b) pay fees

3) Apply for and maintain a charterholder by submitting annual professional conduct statements and pay annual fees.
