Is CFA exam still administrated in India?

I heard no more CFA exam in India because of the court rules. Is that true?

This is the update from CFA institue:

4 February 2009 Update

The hearing for the appeal by CFA Institute to resume holding CFA Program examinations in India began on 1 December 2008, and is continuing. The next hearing is scheduled for 6 March. Our legal team continues to make every effort to resolve this issue.

But they do permit people to register in India but sit for exams outside India

ok so i can register and write exams from other country.however do u know any institution in india thats gives you class for it somewhat like Beckers for CPA in india.

Hi Puja, yes, one of them is Stalla. The reason I mentioned Stalla is because it and Becker are offered by the same company, Becker Professional Review. They have partner in India. Please take a look at this page and find the India Section
